Hanoi National University trains 6 more master's programs in medicine
From October 2025, Hanoi National University will start training 6 new master's programs in medicine from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy. Among these, there are 4 specialized programs on internal medicine (Gastroenterology, Neurology, Emergency Resuscitation - Anti-Poison, Infection and Tropical Diseases) and 2 specialized programs on surgery (Urinology - Gender medicine, plastic surgery - cosmetic surgery).
The programs are designed in an applied direction, combining in-depth theory with clinical practice, to meet the needs of training high-quality human resources in the medical field. The National University of Hanoi's Council of Training Sciences has appraised and approved the projects with some adjustments to improve quality and feasibility.
With the addition of new programs, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy will have a total of 18 master's programs and 13 inpatient doctor programs. Vietnamese students won 1 Gold medal, 4 Silver medals at the International Physics Olympiad
All 5 students of the Vietnam national team participating in the 2025 International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) in the French Republic won medals, including 1 Gold medal and 4 Silver medals. Nguyen The Quan (Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, Nghe An) was the one who brought home the Gold medal. The students who won the Silver Medals include: High School for Natural Sciences, University of Natural Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Nguyen Cong Vinh, a 12th grade student at Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted, Bac Ninh Province; Tran Le Thien Nhan, a 12th grade student at Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, Hue City.
