Ho Chi Minh City records more than 600 candidates not taking the Literature exam for 10th grade
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training (GDĐT), the Literature exam on the morning of June 1 recorded 603 absent candidates out of a total of more than 151,000 registered candidates.
In the first exam session, the whole city has not recorded any cases of candidates violating exam regulations. The exam organization at exam sites took place stably and in accordance with regulations.
The Literature subject was organized on the morning of June 1st with a test time of 120 minutes. This is the first exam subject in the public 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City in the 2026-2027 school year. See more...
Hanoi studies mechanism to pay additional income to education sector officials
Hanoi Department of Education and Training (GDĐT) has just issued document No. 2461/SGDĐT-TCCB signed by Director of Hanoi Department of Education and Training Nguyen Van Hien, sent to affiliated departments on researching and advising on building additional income standards for officials of the capital's education sector.
According to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the development of additional income spending norms is implemented based on Resolution No. 248/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly on a number of specific and outstanding mechanisms and policies for the development of education and training; Decree No. 182/2026/ND-CP of the Government stipulating the preferential allowance regime according to the profession for teachers, management staff of educational institutions and educational support personnel in public educational institutions.
The document also cites Official Dispatch No. 3535/SNV-LĐTLĐN dated May 26, 2026 of the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs on advising on the implementation of specific policies for the staff of health and education sectors, ensuring synchronization with the mechanism for paying additional income for cadres, civil servants, and public employees of Hanoi city.
