A series of schools plan to consider the ability and thinking assessment test scores in 2026 enrollment

In 2026, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi plans to enroll students according to 3 admission methods:

Method 301: Direct admission and priority admission according to the current Admission Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET).

Method 401: Admission results of valid HSA exams of Hanoi National University.

Method 100: Admission results of high school graduation exam.

In 2026, in addition to the direct admission method according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry plans to use only one method, which is comprehensive admission.

This method includes the following components: Considering high school graduation exam scores, competency assessment test scores, high school academic results and other outstanding achievements.

For Yersin University of Da Lat, in 2026, the school plans to consider admission based on 4 methods:

Method 1: Admitting academic records based on the total average scores of 3 subjects in grade 12;

Method 2: Admitting academic records based on the average score of the entire 12th grade;

Method 3: Admission based on the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam;

Method 4: Admission based on the results of the 2026 competency assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University or other universities.

Recently, the Ministry of Education and Training issued Decision No. 3037/QD-BGDDT on the implementation of university and college admissions in 2026.

Accordingly, training institutions are required to develop specific implementation plans, ensuring consistency with the general plan of the Ministry; publicize and make admission information transparent so that candidates can soon access and prepare for admission registration, ensuring fairness in admission.

Admissions should be provided consistently about the expected admission methods, while implementing consultation and communication activities on admissions in 2026.

According to the plan, training institutions must complete the announcement of admission information on the training institution's website by February 15, 2026.
