On December 6, Lap Vo Commune Police (Dong Thap Province) and the Traffic Police Department of Dong Thap Province Police are coordinating to investigate the case of a passenger bus crashing into the side of the road, causing 3 casualties.
Initial information, at around 8:30 p.m. on December 5, driver Nguyen Tan Manh (50 years old, living in An Giang province) was driving a sleeper bus on National Highway 80.
When reaching Vinh Phu hamlet, Lap Vo commune (towards Sa Dec), the car suddenly changed direction to the left side and hit 3 people sitting drinking water.
The victims were quickly taken to Sa Dec General Hospital for emergency care. However, due to severe injuries, 2 victims died, the rest are being treated.
Upon receiving the report, Lap Vo Commune Police coordinated with professional units of Dong Thap Provincial Police to quickly go to the scene to investigate, examine the scene, and conduct an autopsy.
The cause of the incident is currently being investigated.
