This year's admission score is considered according to two main methods, including the method based on high school graduation exam results and the method based on the Thinking Assessment exam organized by Hanoi University of Science and Technology (calculated on a 30-point scale).
In this year's entrance exam, the group of programs training talented engineers and key technology majors continued to have the highest admission scores in the whole school. Leading the benchmark score according to the high school graduation exam method is the Program for Training Talented Engineers in Control and Automation Engineering with 27.10 points, followed by the Program for Training Talented Engineers in Information Technology (Data Science and Artificial Intelligence orientation) at 27,000 points; especially the Information Technology major (Data Science and Artificial Intelligence major) achieved the highest score in the Thinking Evaluation method with 18.95 points.
The groups of majors belonging to environmental engineering, waterway and transport construction recorded the lowest benchmark scores in the school. The lowest admission score in both methods belonged to the major of Environmental Engineering with 18.25 high school exam scores and 13.04 thinking assessment scores. Next are the majors of Waterway Construction Engineering with 18.35 high school scores (13.09 GPA), Natural Resources and Environment Management with 18.50 high school scores (13.15 GPA) and Transport Construction Engineering with 18.85 high school scores (13.31 GPA).
