Where to welcome the first sunrise
Dai Lanh Lighthouse is considered the most beautiful place to welcome the first rays of the morning sun on the mainland. From 4 - 5 am, this place can begin to feel the purple orange and yellow streaks that gradually shine on the sea surface.
This moment took place in just about 15 minutes, so many tourists chose to go straight to the lighthouse at night to wait.
Unique architecture
Dai Lanh Lighthouse is one of the oldest lighthouses in Southeast Asia, built by the French in 1890, 26m high from the foot of the tower. Up to now, Dai Lanh lighthouse complex with an area of 320m2 still retains unique ancient architectural features with rainwater tanks and solar panels for lighting.
The dual- rotating headlights are considered the "heart" of the lighthouse, capable of transmitting light signals up to 27 nautical miles away.
Witness of history
After nearly 130 years of history, amidst fierce storms and devastating war, this ancient lighthouse has had to stop operating many times. During the resistance war against the US, this was the place to receive countless ships carrying weapons to support the Southern battlefield, so it was repeatedly bombed and destroyed. In 1997, Dai Lanh lighthouse was restored and put back into operation.
Attractive tourist destination
In addition to enjoying the majestic natural beauty, exploring the unique architecture of the lighthouse, you can go here to the waves in the Mon Beach sea, watch the freshwater stream near the sea, fish... or enjoy fresh seafood.
Many travel enthusiasts who love to explore have included Dai Lanh lighthouse in the list of places "must check in once in a lifetime".

This is the most premium exterior paint line of AkzoNobel today, with the "optimal Protection - Regardless of weather" feature, including the harshest weather in the central coastal areas of Vietnam.
Opening of the "Defending the Sun" campaign
Dai Lanh Lighthouse is the first lighthouse to be newly painted, opening the campaign "Protecting the Lighthouse" (#Bao Ve HaiDang) that AkzoNobel is committed to implementing long-term in Vietnam. Accordingly, with the advantage of exterior paint products that can protect the building from the most severe weather impacts, AkzoNobel has been planning to renovate and protect many other lighthouses across the S-shaped strip of land.
