More than 3,100 houses in Ha Tinh are flooded due to floods

As of the morning of November 1, more than 3,100 houses in Ha Tinh have been flooded due to floods, thousands of people have had to evacuate.

According to the report of the Standing Office of the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control of Ha Tinh province, heavy rain caused the morning of November 1, Ke Go lake released a overflow of 550 m3/s; Nuoc Garbage River 400 m3/s; Kim Son 40 m3/s, Thuong Song Tri 80 m3/s; Elephant ship 10 m3/s, Khe Xai 30 m3/s; Boc Nguyen 20 m3/s; Han rock 54 m3/s, Ho Ho hydropower plant 193 m3/s.

Faced with the complicated flood situation, some localities have evacuated people. Of which, Vung Ang ward evacuated 184 households/484 people; Ky Thuong commune 135 households/166 people; Ky Lac commune 169 households/220 people; Cam Lac commune 98 household 1998 people; Ky Van commune 317 households/991 people; Cam Due 355 households/720 people to safety.

Many communes and wards were flooded into people's houses. Of which, Ky Anh commune has 25 households; Ky Khang commune has 130 households; Vung Ang ward has 500 households, Song Tri ward has 323 households; Hoanh Son ward has 34 households; Ky Thuong commune has 24 households, Ky Lac commune has 169 households, Cam Lac commune has 203 households, Cam Due commune has 1,458 households, Ky Van commune has 297 households. As of the morning of November 1, 3,163 households had their houses flooded.

Some inter-village and inter-commune roads were partially flooded. National Highway 8 section Km65+330 (right of the route) has a landslide on the negative slope, 15m long, 2.5m deep, 2m wide. National Highway 12C has 3 landslides on the positive slope...
