Handover of duties and responsibilities of the Commander of Coast Guard Region 4
On October 31, at Phu Quoc special zone, An Giang province, the Coast Guard Region 4 Command held a conference to hand over the responsibilities and tasks of the Region Commander. Major General Le Dinh Cuong - Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard - chaired the conference.
In Decision No. 2279/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister appointed Major General Tran Van Luong - Commander of Coast Guard Region 4, Vietnam Coast Guard to hold the position of Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Vietnam Coast Guard.
In Decision No. 435/QD-BQP dated October 27, 2025, the Minister of National Defense appointed Colonel Dao Ba Viet - Deputy Chief of Staff, Vietnam Coast Guard - to hold the position of Commander of Coast Guard Region 4, Vietnam Coast Guard.
After listening to the report from the representative of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command, through the handover minutes and comments, Major General Le Dinh Cuong - Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard agreed with the handover contents.

On October 31, the Political Department of Military Region 7 organized the announcement and awarding of the decision to promote the rank of military officer and raise the salary of professional soldiers (QNCN) to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
At the conference, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Phuong Dung - Deputy Head of the Planning Department - General authorized by the head of the Military Region Political Department announced the Decisions for 14 QNCN to receive the Decision on promotion of military ranks, salary increase, and bonus coefficient.
Logistics - Technical Department rewards for promotion of military ranks, raises QNCN salary grades
On October 29, the Logistics - Technical Department of Military Region 7 organized the announcement and awarding of the decision to promote the rank of military major and raise the salary of the QNCN at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Logistics and Technical Department has proposed to reward for promotion of military ranks, salary levels, and reserve coefficient for QNCN, workers and defense officials, non-commissioned officers and soldiers for a total of 1,157 people. Of which, 36 QNCN Lieutenant Colonel were signed by the Ministry of National Defense.
