Baby Monster's Drip album causes controversy even before its release

According to Korean media, many viewers pointed out a series of negative points from Baby Monster's upcoming album Drip.

Baby Monster will return this November with a full-length album titled "Drip".

At the time of its announcement, the album's tracklist only had one title track, "Drip".

However, according to the latest information from the group, in addition to the original title track "Drip", the group has decided to promote another title track, "Clik Clak".

Initially, when the new album was announced, many audiences liked Baby Monster's comeback. However, after the songs were released, controversy broke out.

"Drip" has 9 songs, but 2 of them are old. The song Forever was released 3 months ago. It is worth mentioning that the song Batter Up is an old song that has been released in many different versions before.

However, this song was not highly appreciated for both its music and content. Many audiences thought that it was unreasonable to include Batter Up in the group's new album. The audience even criticized the management company for lacking ideas when remixing the group's old song.

In particular, the album poster was also criticized for being outdated. Although the beauty of Baby Monster members was highly appreciated, the layout, color... of the poster was old and lacked creativity.

YG Entertainment previously announced that BabyMonster is preparing to release their first full-length album and that they are in the process of filming multiple music videos, including one for the title track.

The management company added that with full support, the company is completing this major project by filming at many secured locations with a large budget.

Recording for Baby Monster's debut album is complete and choreography for some of the songs has been done.
