Since August 29, the special issue 2.9 and its thematic appendices, comprehensively reflecting the 80-year journey of building and defending the country carried out by Nhan Dan Newspaper, have been available in provinces and cities across the country and are given away for free to readers. In Hanoi, the book introduction ceremony and exhibition opening ceremony took place at the headquarters of Nhan Dan Newspaper, No. 71 Hang Trong.
In Da Nang, since the morning of August 29, the Special Supplement 2.9 has been presented at the Representative Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in the Central - Central Highlands region. Many people, agencies, and schools came to receive publications and participate in experiential activities.

Special issue 2.9 is structured into 5 large sections deployed according to the historical - current - future axis reflecting the journey of building and defending the country of the nation, affirming the eternal historical value of the August Revolution and National Day 2.9, summarizing the achievements of 80 years of building the country, and at the same time affirming the aspiration to reach the level of Vietnam in the new era.
Publications are a harmonious combination of politics, history and humanities combining cultural - artistic materials with precious documentary images, creating a publication that is both historical and inspiring.
Special supplement 2.9 consists of two parts: The first part recreates the image of President Ho Chi Minh reading the Declaration of Independence at Ba Dinh Square and at the same time fully printed the Declaration of Independence - an immortal document affirming the right to independence and freedom of the Vietnamese people.
The second part introduces 80 outstanding events over the past 80 years in the fields of politics, economics, society, foreign affairs, culture... The artistic design was done by artist Kim Duan using hand-painted techniques, combining theory with visual art, to arouse national pride, foster patriotism in generations, especially the younger generation.
Through a series of activities, Nhan Dan Newspaper hopes to bring the public an event that is both solemn and approachable, harmoniously combining historical values, cultural experiences and the application of modern technology.
