Chairman of the People's Committee of Luong City Nguyen Minh Triet has just signed and issued a Decision (No. 888/QD-UBND), approving the adjustment of investor tasks and capital structure for a series of public investment projects after merging the two localities of Quang Nam and Da Nang (old).
After reorganizing the 2-level local government in the old Quang Nam province, affecting the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025 and related capital plans, it is therefore necessary to adjust.
Accordingly, the investor role of many projects and units will be transferred from the People's Committee of Hoi An City (old) to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VHTTDL) of Da Nang City.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang will take on the role of investor for Hoi An's iconic key projects, including: Cau Pagoda Relic Renovation Project, Hoi An Ancient Town Fire Prevention and Fighting Project, Cay Thong Mot Relic Renovation Project - the founder of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, and Lao Hoi An House Relic Renovation and Renovation Project.
The two units, the old Hoi An Cultural Heritage Conservation Management Center and the old Hoi An City Culture - Sports and Radio - Television Center, were also adjusted their investor duties and transferred to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City.
In addition, the above decision also adjusts tasks in other areas: Projects under the Sao La Species Conservation Area Management Board, the Elephant Species and Habitat Conservation Area Management Board and the District-level Protective Forest Management Boards (under the People's Committee of the old Quang Nam Province) will be transferred to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Da Nang City.
In terms of security, the investor's task from the Border Guard Command of Quang Nam province (old) and Da Nang city (old) will be merged into the Border Guard Command of Da Nang city.
Regarding finance, the decision also clearly states the adjustment of the investment capital structure. Accordingly, projects using district, town and city budgets under the People's Committee of Quang Nam province (old) will be converted into capital from the city budget, ensuring consistency in resource management and allocation.
