The latest trailer revealed a series of interesting behind-the-scenes stories, giving the audience a realistic look at the practice process as well as the emotions of the artists before taking the stage.
With "To Your Ex", taking on the role of captain for the first time, "brother" BigDaddy admitted that he had gone through many emotions - nervousness, anxiety but also extremely excited. The male rapper said that his experience from two Rap Viet seasons helped him become more confident when leading the group. BigDaddy also humorously introduced his team as men from the future, talking to the present about the past.
In particular, he surprised the audience when he revealed that he used his personal demo to develop it into a competition song. The song was completed with producers Hung Doan and Duong K, taking the idea of five boys transforming into robots created by a "doctor" - a character played by "beautiful girl" Orange, who also participated in writing the lyrics and singing the bridge. The female singer wryly shared: "From Brother to Pretty Girl, Cam, there are hits, and also best hits."
During the recording, "brother" Hai Nam caused emotion when he burst into tears at the family's surprise appearance. He shared that he had promised not to cry anymore, but when he saw his relatives in the stands, his emotions burst out. BigDaddy praised the spirit and efforts of the members, especially Hai Nam - who contributed greatly to building a concept with Vietnamese features but still modern and "futuristic".
On the opposite side, HUSTLANG Robber's team brought the performance "Sooner or later," inspired by the sea journey of fishermen and crew members - as a metaphor for their own musical journey. Robber said he wanted to express his gratitude to those working in the ocean, wishing everyone to return home safely.
The team's behind-the-scenes atmosphere was also filled with laughter when "brother" Khoi Vu humorously told the story of "Thieu Than autonomous area" and "HUSTLANG Robber autonomous area" - where the whole group practiced tirelessly, having to inhale soil every session. Nham Phuong Nam revealed that the whole team usually practices 4-5 consecutive times for a performance that is only over 5 minutes long. He also affectionately calls Robber "little Hai", while Robber nicknames him "Mr. Nam", making the audience excited.
Members such as Mason Nguyen and "beautiful sister" Lamoon all praised the captain's spirit, affirming that Robber was the one who "ged his all to the song". Robber revealed that he hopes this performance will be like a "short film", bringing the audience through many emotions.
At the end of the exchange, "brother" Jaysonlei confidently affirmed: "The six of us have done it and will go even further to make "brother say hi" explode together.
