Shops and restaurants are simultaneously closed, and houses are locked, preparing to cope with the strongest storm of the year.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Huan, owner of a coffee shop on Le Huu Trac Street (Nghia Lo Ward) said: "Storm No. 13 is forecast to be strong and have a wide range of impacts, so this morning I temporarily stopped business and clean up the furniture in the shop. When the storm is gone, I will reopen for sale.
Although many houses in the central area were built quite solidly, since yesterday, people have been urgently reinforcing their houses. Steel wires, water bags, sandbags... are used to tie roofs and door posts, minimizing damage when the storm makes landfall.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Huy - Director of the Quang Ngai Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, from the afternoon of November 6, on the mainland and the eastern coastal areas of the province, the wind will gradually increase to level 6 - 7, then increase to level 8 - 9; The area near the storm's eye may be strong at level 11 - 13, gusting to level 14 - 16 (especially pay attention to the communes and wards in the south of the province). Coastal waves are 4.0 to 7.0 m high.

From the evening and night of November 6, the west of Quang Ngai province will gradually increase to level 6 - 7, the area near the storm's eye will have strong winds of level 8 - 9, gusting to level 10 - 11.
The People's Committee of Quang Ngai province said that the total number of households that need to be evacuated before storm No. 13 makes landfall is 30,221 households with 103,132 people. As of 9:00 a.m. on November 6, the eastern localities of the province had evacuated 10,888 people, while the western communes and wards had evacuated 7,409 people. Relocation work is still being urgently implemented.
