On the evening of August 9, at Than Thoai Square of Vinpearl Land Nha Trang Tourist Area (Khanh Hoa province), thousands of audiences participated in the live show "Summer Fire - Boney M". This is the only performance of the legendary disco band of the 20th century in Vietnam.
The large outdoor space not only meets the large number of fans of many generations, but is also the scale commensurate with the vibrant and passionate style of hot disco dances.
The audience listened to the band's singers perform immortal songs such as Daddy Cool, Sunny, Rasputin, Bahama Mama; Rivers of Babylon, Hooray Hooray Heli-Holiday... Along with the singing, music, light on stage, thousands of audiences danced, cheered and "scored all their might" with vibrant, fiery dances with the legendary band.
In addition, the audience also had the opportunity to immerse themselves in vibrant and exciting DJ dances.
Boney M is considered the most successful Disco band of all time. The band was formed in 1976 with 4 members including 3 female singers: Liz Mitchell, Marcia Barrett, Maizie Williams and a single male member Bobby Farrel.
After many ups and downs, Bobby Farrell has passed away, but now Boney M still has 4 members with a vibrant performance style typical and original of the golden age. Along with Modern Talking, The Beatles,... Boney M is one of the pioneering music groups with influence in Vietnam.
Sharing at the music night, singer Liz Mitchell - who has been performing for more than 40 years and is the lead singer of the band - said: "I have chosen my colleagues from friends and close family members. I have preserved all the group's songs and we have performed continuously over the years, even with member changes.
