HYBE - the managing unit of BTS, CORTIS and Geffen Records are entering the final stage of a new global girl group project.

HYBE and Geffen Records are accelerating their plans to launch their second global girl group, following the success of KATSEYE. The project is currently attracting great interest from international audiences as the "World Scout: The Final Piece" selection program is about to close.

The organizers also confirmed that Ayana and Sakura are the last two trainees competing for the remaining position in the debut lineup (debut). Both come from Japan and will enter the decisive stage taking place on May 12 in Los Angeles, USA.

According to published information, Ayana will perform the song "WE RIDE", while Sakura chose "PARTY b4 the PARTY" for the final performance. This is considered an important performance to identify the final member of the new girl group co-developed by HYBE and Geffen Records.

Besides the last two contestants, members who have been confirmed to debut including Emily (USA), Lexie (Sweden) and Samara (Brazil) will also participate in performing in the live show night. The multinational lineup continues to show the global market-oriented strategy that HYBE has pursued in recent years.

Emily has been working as a professional dancer since she was 14 years old and attracted attention when she reached the final round of "The Debut: Dream Academy" - the survival show that created KATSEYE before. Meanwhile, Samara is highly appreciated for her emotional voice, while Lexie stands out in her ability to compose and produce music.

Previously, KATSEYE debuted in 2023 and quickly gained international influence. The group continuously appeared at many major music events, including Lollapalooza Chicago. The group's products also achieved positive results on major charts in the US such as Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200.

HYBE's continued investment in the multinational group model shows the ambition to expand the influence of K-pop in the international market. Many audiences expect the new girl group to continue the success that KATSEYE has achieved in the past time.
