On September 26, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 2135/QD-TTg on awarding Certificates of Merit to singer Nguyen Duc Phuc for his outstanding achievement in winning the Championship of the Intervision International Music Competition 2025, held in Moscow, Russian Federation.
Previously, on September 22, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent a letter of congratulations and commendation for the great efforts and outstanding achievements of singer Duc Phuc.
Intervision 2025 brings together 23 countries from Europe, Asia to the Middle East. With a large scale and media coverage, Intervision 2025 is considered a strong comeback, contributing to connecting the Asia- Europe cultural exchange network in the context of a volatile world.
In the final night at the Live Arena stage, Duc Phuc performed the song "Phu Dong Thien Vuong", composed by musician Ho Hoai Anh, inspired by the poem "Tre Viet Nam" by poet Nguyen Duy.
The special thing about Duc Phuc's performance is the combination of folk songs, rap and modern stage effects: bamboo props, traditional shots combined with brilliant LED images; the rap part is expressed in three languages (Vietnamese, English, Russian).
The performance helped Duc Phuc receive 422 points from the judges - the highest score, far surpassing strong opponents from Kyrgyzstan and Qatar.
This is the first time Vietnam has participated in and won a prestigious international music competition. This achievement puts Vietnamese music on the world map and opens up opportunities for many other young artists to confidently reach international markets in the future.
