Talking to Lao Dong reporter on February 26, singer Thuy Dung shared unforgettable memories with the medical industry: "During the COVID-19 period, witnessing all forces in the industry fighting the epidemic in Ho Chi Minh City, I cried when watching the report on how resilient the doctors and nurses are, witnessing how much shortage of supplies and how terrible the losses of the people are.
I really wanted to not be able to just sit there crying and feeling sadly. I have texted friends, relatives, and some close parents to send to Bach Mai Hospital, Dong Da Hospital, and 115 Emergency Hospital, Central Tropical Hospital medical equipment that is in great need and is enthusiastically supported by everyone.
But this is only within the reach of close friends and not appealing to the public".
She recalled her feelings when going to hospitals: "I was also very scared, but thinking about the doctors, nurses, and functional forces struggling to fight the epidemic, I wondered why I was afraid. And I go to hospitals alone, definitely not letting anyone go with me. If there is an infection, I will get it myself."
According to singer Thuy Dung, through the COVID-19 pandemic, she appreciates the team of doctors and all those who always strive and work quietly in the health sector.
Without their selfless dedication, we cannot have a healthy, prosperous society.
The money of doctors and teachers is different from other professions
Singer Thuy Dung said that she often told her children that the money teachers and doctors earn is not like other professions.
The currency of these two industries has its own characteristics, very easy to be famous because it is related to the recognition and respect of society.
Therefore, as a piano lecturer, Thuy Dung always reminds herself not to let emotions lead. She had to maintain a " cool head".
In addition, singer Thuy Dung pointed out more reasons why she appreciates those working in the medical industry: " Their work is quiet and too hard. To get a boarding doctor's degree, the time is up to nearly 10 years. It is probably the longest in university degrees. So much effort, intelligence and determination can train a doctor to save people like that.

On February 6, 1985, the Council of Ministers issued a decision on February 27 every year as Vietnam Doctors' Day to promote the responsibility and talent of medical staff in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
This day is considered a day to honor doctors and those working in the health sector and the Ministry of Health has chosen February 27 as the traditional day of the sector.
Medical ethics are a good quality of health workers, demonstrated in a high sense of responsibility, dedication to service, wholehearted love and care for patients, considering them as painful as pain, as President Ho Chi Minh taught: "Health must be as good as good".
