The routes on Ha Long Bay where tourist boats from Lan Ha Bay are taken to have many attractions, including many caves and beautiful sandy beaches, but are currently not as crowded as Ha Long Bay 1 and Ha Long Bay 2 routes.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Phu - Head of Lan Ha Sailing Association, Hai Phong - said that currently, Lan Ha Bay tourist boat owners are carrying out procedures to sign contracts with Tuan Chau International Passenger Port and Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board to bring tourists from Lan Ha Bay to Ha Long Bay. It is expected that the signing of the above contracts will be completed before April 15, 2026.
Also according to Mr. Phu, it is expected that about 70% of tourist boats operating in Lan Ha Bay will have plans to take tourists to Ha Long Bay. Currently, there are about 70 overnight tourist boats operating in Lan Ha Bay, Cat Ba, Hai Phong.
Not every day we bring tourists from Lan Ha Bay to Ha Long Bay, but it also depends on the needs of tourists" - Mr. Phu said.
Meanwhile, according to Mr. Tran Van Hong - Head of Ha Long Tourist Boat Association - the connection of tours between the 2 bays opens up a new development space, adding more room. However, currently, boat owners in Ha Long Bay do not have plans to bring tourists from Ha Long Bay to Lan Ha Bay.
