The Street Festival event with the theme "Echoes of Black Bamboo" created a vibrant spring atmosphere, attracting a large number of people and tourists.
The Mang Den pine road, from Nga 5 to Mang Den market fair, is chosen as the venue for the festival. This is a beautiful road of the tourist area. On both sides of the road, cherry blossoms are blooming brightly. The cool weather at the beginning of the year further highlights the spring colors of the highlands.
About 50 artisans in traditional costumes of the Xo Dang people (Mo Nam) participated in the parade. The troupes performed gongs, xoang dances, folk instruments and stilts along the nearly 5 km long street. The journey started from the intersection of Pham Van Dong street to the Mang Den market fair stage. The sound of gongs echoed. The xoang beat was bustling. The whole street was filled with sounds and cultural colors.
The program takes place for about 3 hours. The form is a continuous performance parade, combined with stops at 3 main points. At the roundabout at Nga 5 Pham Van Dong street, the delegations line up in a circle to open. The lineup includes a makeup delegation, a stilt walking delegation, a delegation of adult gong and xoang artisans and a children's gong delegation. After the starting signal, the delegation moves in the sound of the great forest gong.
At the King Kong Hotel intersection area, giao lưu activities took place sôi động. Community xoang dance, performing the song Tay Nguyen, introducing the traditional rice wine brewing profession of the Mo Nam ethnic group were organized methodically. The Organizing Committee arranged about 20 jars of rice wine to serve tourists, ensuring hygiene.
Folk games such as stilt walking, stick pushing; performances of Mo Nam traditional costumes attract a large number of participants. Tourists enthusiastically immerse themselves in the sinuses. Many people record colorful New Year's moments.
At the Mang Den market fair stage, the program closed with a group gong performance and cultural experience activities. The festival creates a tourism highlight at the beginning of the year, contributing to promoting the image of Mang Den - a unique ecological and cultural destination of Quang Ngai province.
