Quang Ngai - The cherry blossom growing movement aims to gradually turn Mang Den into a green, friendly and sustainable tourist destination.

On January 9, Mang Den Commune People's Committee said that to build an ecological landscape associated with sustainable tourism development, the commune is implementing the cultivation of Sakura cherry blossoms in the area, creating a unique landscape highlight.

Accordingly, the commune government coordinates with individuals and organizations inside and outside the province with experience in planting and nurturing Sakura cherry blossom seedlings to order seedlings in large quantities, ensuring the quality of crops.

On that basis, the commune develops a specific plan to organize the planting of Sakura cherry blossoms in central villages, main roads, public areas and concentrated residential areas; gradually forming a characteristic green space, creating landscape highlights, contributing to attracting tourists.

The locality launched a movement for the whole population to participate in growing Sakura cherry blossoms, gradually shifting from existing cherry blossoms to growing Sakura cherry blossoms to create synchronization and unity in the landscape.

Statistics in 2025, Mang Den continues to affirm its tourism attraction when welcoming more than 1.8 million visitors, out of a total of about 5 million visitors to Quang Ngai, making an important contribution to the province's tourism revenue of more than 3,700 billion VND.

Stepping into 2026, Mang Den is identified as a connecting point, converging in the "Forest - Sea" tourism linkage chain of the new Quang Ngai province.
