On the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30); 72nd anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory Day (May 7); 136th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19), on the evening of April 30, at Muong Thanh Market Pedestrian Street (Dien Bien Phu ward), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien province organized the music night program "Returning to the Land of Memories".
Choosing revolutionary music with the theme "Song that goes with the years", the music night brought the audience back to the heroic, glorious but also romantic years of the nation.
According to the Organizing Committee, the art program series takes place continuously for 3 evenings (from April 30 to May 2), with a performance time of 50 - 60 minutes each night.
Instead of grand stages, the music night chose artistic performances combining professional and amateur actors and singers, focusing on close and interactive elements.
In that space, solo, duet and instrumental solo performances are staged in a rustic live band style.
Right in the first night of performance, immortal melodies such as: Qua mien Tay Bac, Giai phong Dien Bien, Bai ca thong nhat... were sung proudly, bringing the audience unforgettable emotional levels.
Each lyric and music not only honors the glorious historical length, praising the beauty of the pristine countryside, but is also a bridge to introduce and promote the beauty of Dien Bien's culture, land and friendly and hospitable people.
