On December 1, Dam Vinh Hung shared with the audience about his recent show as well as his performance schedule in December.
He said: "Sincerely thank the 3,000 audience members in Maryland, USA who loved, cheered, and sang along with Hung in the last show."
The male singer also added that he and the Buoc Nhay dance group will soon be present in other cities in the US to perform for the audience.
On December 14, 21, 22 and 25, Dam Vinh Hung announced that he will have shows.
This information was announced by the male singer after the noisy lawsuit with singer Bich Tuyen and her husband.
Dam Vinh Hung had an accident at the villa of singer Bich Tuyen and her husband, resulting in the amputation of several toes. He said he had to rest and cancel many shows.
Dam Vinh Hung said this incident made it inconvenient for him to travel and made it more difficult for him to move around than before.
However, the fact that singer Dam Vinh Hung is performing again in the US shows that his injury has recovered.
Previously, Dam Vinh Hung was banned from performing for 9 months for wearing inappropriate performance costumes at the show "The Day You Light the Stars" in Ho Chi Minh City.
Many audiences have questioned whether the male singer is violating regulations by still singing abroad while he is under a performance ban.
Regarding this issue, the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City responded: "Decree No. 38/2021/ND-CP has regulations on handling organizations and individuals who use performers during the period of suspension of performing activities by competent state agencies to organize performing arts as prescribed in Clause 4, Article 11 of Decree No. 38/2021/ND-CP. There are no regulations on handling performers during the period of suspension of performing activities by competent state agencies.
Therefore, Mr. Huynh Minh Hung (singer Dam Vinh Hung) was invited by foreign organizations and individuals to sing abroad (not in Vietnam's territory), so there are no sanctions for this case.
