It is known that Ms. Ngoc Hanh passed away on the evening of August 5 after two years of fighting cancer. She enjoyed a lifetime of 72. Her passing has shocked and hurt the artists and music and stage lovers.
Because when she established Lac Hong Banking Center as director, she supported many young singers and artists, including Dam Vinh Hung.
Singer Dam Vinh Hung shared: "25 years ago, when I was just a rookie singer, I brought my first master album but it was refused by many centers. Coincidentally, at the anniversary of the ancestors, I met her, I didn't know her at all, I only dared to confide my story. After listening, she said: "Give it here, I will release it to you".
Not only that, she also advance money to print CDs and posters - like a fairy appeared at the right time. Thanks to that, the album "Love - ask to sleep peacefully" was released at Lac Hong Center, followed by "Dark Will Take You" creating a big boost for my career.
She is always by my side, supporting me both mentally and materially. When she wanted to buy a small house to fulfill her mother's wishes, she reached out: 'If you don't have enough money, pay slowly, I'm always reluctant to buy a house'. And so the first house became a reality - the place where I used to walk around the house, not believing that I had a home.
In recent years, despite her illness, she has remained optimistic and transmitted positive energy every time she talked.
Now, she has slept a long, gentle sleep and is no longer in pain. I greet you - the kind person, the sister, the one who has given wings to make your dreams come true".
Not only Dam Vinh Hung, many veteran artists such as: People's Artist Ngoc Giau, Kieu Tien, People's Artist Minh Vuong, Meritorious Artist Bao Quoc... have expressed their condolences.
For Korean artists, Ms. Hanh is a support in the midst of the most difficult time for artists. The female artist added that Ms. Hanh not only released records but also supported them by being persistent, listening and trusting in the talents of others, even though they were not famous at that time.
Lac Hong band center once gave wings to many street artists and neo-music singers in the 1990s and early 2000s.
