Actor Long Vũ - the son of artist Vân Dung - had his first leading role in the television film "Đi giữa trời rực rỡ".
In the film, he played the role of Chải - the richest young master in the village. The film explores a relatively new theme, which is the journey of overcoming difficulties and affirming oneself of a young girl from the Dao ethnic group, named Pu (Thu Hà Ceri). Pu is intelligent and always wishes to go to the city to attend university and have a good job.
Since Chải comes from a wealthy family, he does not want to study, is fond of playing, and only wants to find a way to keep Pu in the village, not allowing her to go to the city to study. Chải is also of bad character, to the point of burning Pu's university entrance exam papers.
The interaction between Long Vũ and Thu Hà Ceri in the film received positive feedback from the audience due to their lovable and natural acting with simple personalities.
While Thu Hà Ceri was praised for her cleverness, Long Vũ was commended for his "very charming" acting, which was a comment from the audience. The audience also enthusiastically "pushed" for Pu and Chải, hoping that the couple would be destined to be together.
It is known that Long Vũ is actually the son of actress Vân Dung. However, he wants to find his own opportunities rather than relying on his mother's fame or relationships.
Long Vũ shared with the media that he usually quietly tries out for roles, only sharing the news with his mother when he gets a part. Long Vũ has failed many times but did not give up, and Chải is his first leading role in his acting career.
As for Vân Dung, she once shared about her son on her personal page: "My son has grown up. Thank you to the enthusiastic audience who loves and cares for him. I am still proud of him. My son, the star in my heart".
Vân Dung added: "A mother cannot ask the audience to love her child all her life. The child must burn with passion for their work, for their profession, love their profession, and then they will win the hearts of the audience". This is also a rare occasion for a female actress to share about her personal life, her son, with her fans.
Long Vũ was born in 2001 and graduated from the Acting Department of the Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema.
Previously, Long Vũ had also appeared on the golden time screen through various films: Cuộc chiến không giới tuyến, Không ngại cưới chỉ cần một lý do, Lối nhỏ vào đời... with minor roles.
