On the evening of June 20, at Bao Ninh Square, Dong Hoi ward, Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and musician Trinh Cong Son's family to organize the music night "Legend of Mother".
This is a special art event within the key activities of the 2026 Peace Festival, and also a meaningful activity to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the death of musician Trinh Cong Son - a great artist of Vietnamese music with works rich in humanistic values and aspirations for peace.
The program is organized to honor and introduce typical works of musician Trinh Cong Son, spreading profound human values about love, compassion, sharing and the desire for peace.
From the painful memories of the war, the program sends a profound message of the Peace Festival about cherishing the value of peace today, nurturing the spirit of compassion, strengthening community cohesion and joining hands to build a harmonious and sustainable future.

The music night is built in a epic - narrative form, consisting of three parts. The opening is the artistic scene "Mother's Legend", recreating the image of the mother as a symbol of love, sacrifice and desire for peace. Next is the ceremony with opening ceremonies and speeches from leaders of Quang Tri province. The final part is an art program consisting of three chapters: "Mother in the region of memories", "Loving embrace" and "Aspiration for peace - Let's love each other".
Through Trinh Cong Son's famous songs, the program recreates war memories through the perspective of a Vietnamese mother, depicting silent sacrifices, sacred motherhood and the spiritual strength of the nation. In addition, the performances also convey deep human philosophy about love, altruism, empathy and the desire to heal the wounds of the past.
The music night gathered many famous domestic and international artists such as Khanh Ly, Duc Tuan, Kyo York, Tran Manh Tuan along with artists, orchestras, choirs, professional dancers and many other special guests.

Legend of Mother" is not only an art program commemorating the 25th anniversary of the death of musician Trinh Cong Son, but also a journey back to historical memories and sustainable human values.
