On the evening of August 10, the 38th Bach Hoa Film Awards ceremony took place in Beijing (China).
Dich Duong Thien Ti won the Best Actor (Photo God) award for the role of Luu Xuan Hoa, a young man with cerebral palsy, in the movie "My Little Girl".
The star born in 2000 became the youngest actor to win both the "Film Emperor" Kim Ke and Bach Hoa awards. Last year, Dich Duong Thien Ti also won the Best Actor award at the 38th Kim Ke Film Awards for this role.
Going on stage to receive the award, Dich Duong Thien Ti choked up and said she wanted to prolong the life of the acting profession as long as possible.
He shared: "In 2020, I received the Best New Actor award at Bach Hoa Film Festival. That was the first time I acted in a movie, "You of My Childhood".
These two days I've been reminiscing, from 2018 to 2026, about 8 years, unexpectedly I went from being a new actor to becoming the main actor of about 12 films.
To this day, I especially thank the audience for giving me this trust, and also thank those in the industry who have trusted me.
I hope that in the future I can gradually bring focus back to life... It can make this profession that I respect have the longest lifespan possible. I love this profession. Thank you for the audience's trust.
However, the results of this year's Bach Hoa award are also controversial. Dich Duong Thien Ti's victory is considered convincing, but what is noteworthy is the excessive difference in votes among the candidates.
The Bach Hoa Award applies direct voting from 101 public judges at the site. The results are also publicly displayed on a large screen.
Dich Duong Thien Ty won the title of "Photo Emperor" with 48 votes; Opponents include Luong Gia Huy with 43 votes, Chu Nhat Long with 7 votes, Jackie Chan with 2 votes, Liu Hao Nhien with 1 vote, and Vuong Bao Cuong with 0 votes.
The focus of controversy is on Vuong Bao Cuong. This is the first time in more than 20 years since entering the profession that he has been nominated for Best Actor at Bach Hoa, thanks to the movie "Detective of Chinatown 1900" with box office revenue exceeding 3.6 billion RMB.
However, this actor with high popularity and box office appeal did not receive any votes from 101 judges.

The "0 votes" result quickly caused a social media explosion. Many netizens frankly said that this result was "too humiliating", even commenting that Bach Hoa seemed to be "particularly strict with comedians".
Previously, Shen Teng received 0 votes when competing for Best Actor at Bach Hoa Awards in 2022. Therefore, Wang Baoqiang became the second comedian to receive 0 votes at this award after Shen Teng.
However, there are also opinions pointing out that Bach Hoa is an award decided by 101 public judges who vote directly, focusing on the character representation in each work. Vuong Bao Cuong's role of A Quy in "Detective of Chinatown 1900" belongs to the comedy genre, which has few advantages in a rating system that tends to lean towards drama roles.
