Dien Bien fireworks at 3 locations on New Year's Eve

Dien Bien - The Provincial People's Committee has just announced 3 locations to organize fireworks displays on New Year's Eve of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.

On January 18, information from the People's Committee of Dien Bien province said that the unit had just issued a plan to organize fireworks displays on New Year's Eve of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year.

Accordingly, the province will organize fireworks displays at 3 locations, including 1 high-altitude combined low-altitude shooting point and 2 low-altitude shooting points.

In Dien Bien Phu ward, the shooting point is located in the Muong Thanh bridge area, including high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks with a scale of 600 high-altitude fireworks, 120 low-altitude platforms, lasting 15 minutes from 00:00 to 00:15 on February 17, 2026 (the 1st day of Tet).

The remaining two locations in Tuan Giao commune and Muong Lay ward will display low-altitude fireworks, duration 15 minutes; the specific location is chosen by the local government.

Fireworks costs in Dien Bien Phu ward are guaranteed by the province; in Tuan Giao and Muong Lay, they are mobilized from socialized sources.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Military Command to preside over the development of the plan, coordinate with relevant units to ensure safety, preservation, transportation and direct fireworks display.
