After the noisy business incident of Doan Di Bang and her husband Nguyen Quoc Vu arose in May 2025, being investigated by authorities for suspected counterfeit goods production, the female singer took the first steps such as revoking products related to the couple's brand, and at the same time announcing the temporary suspension of online sales.
On social media, she almost "hides" herself: both her Facebook and TikTok pages with millions of followers have not had new regular posts since May, and at the same time removed the shopping cart and locked comments on clips since mid-May 2025.
In August 2025, Doan Di Bang posted a short article announcing that VB Group Company was temporarily suspending business to comply with the decision of the pharmaceutical management agency. Since then, she has not appeared in any events and has not responded to the media.
Currently, Doan Di Bang owns a villa of hundreds of square meters in Ho Chi Minh City. This is the home she revealed to be worth hundreds of billions of VND.
Before that, she also showed off a series of luxury cars, including cars worth tens of billions of VND.
Before being suspected of producing counterfeit goods, Doan Di Bang had caused controversy many times because of her showing off and shocking statements. She often posts her lavish life in a villa worth hundreds of billions, constantly shopping for luxury goods and claiming to be a "rich person with the right to speak up".
Some statements such as "if you are young, don't try to race for branded goods" or " build a villa just for fun" caused the online community to react strongly, saying that she showed off her wealth and lacked tact.
In the face of criticism, the female singer has taken many moves to provoke the audience when she thought she would continue to make clips showing off her rich life to "angry anti-fans"...
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that on November 5, the Investigation Police Agency of Dong Nai Province Police issued an Arrest Warrant for temporary detention and a Search Warrant for 3 defendants to investigate and clarify the act of " Production and trading of counterfeit goods" occurring at EBC Dong Nai Medical Factory Joint Stock Company.
The defendants include: Dinh Van Lien (born in 1981, residing in Long Binh ward, Dong Nai province), Nguyen Thi Tuyen (born in 1982, residing in Tam Hiep ward, Dong Nai province) and Nguyen Quoc Vu (born in 1978, residing in Tan Thuan ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
The above decisions have been approved by the People's Procuracy at the same level.
