Total revenue from tourists during this period is estimated at 4,900 billion VND. Of which, tourist accommodation establishments in the city are estimated to serve about 182,500 overnight visitors. The city's average room occupancy is expected to reach about 61%.
During the National Day holiday September 2nd, many cultural, artistic, and entertainment activities in Ho Chi Minh City serve people and tourists. These activities contribute to creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution's success (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2026) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2026). At the same time, promote the city's diverse tourism space.
In particular, fireworks displays at 7 locations from 9:00 PM to 9:15 PM on September 2nd in the city create a special highlight in the National Day night, contributing to attracting a large number of people and tourists and creating a strong spillover effect on accommodation, food, entertainment, recreation and transportation services.
