On April 7, continuing the First Session, the 16th National Assembly held a separate meeting on personnel work.
At the meeting, the President presented a list of nominations for the National Assembly to elect the Chief Procurator of the Supreme People's Procuracy (VKSNDTC).
Mr. Nguyen Huy Tien - Member of the Party Central Committee, Director of the Supreme People's Procuracy for the 2021-2026 term was nominated for the National Assembly to elect him to hold the position of Director of the Supreme People's Procuracy for the 2026-2031 term. The National Assembly proceeded to elect the Director of the Supreme People's Procuracy by secret ballot.
With 474/474 National Assembly deputies (NA deputies) participating in the vote in favor (100%), the National Assembly passed the Resolution to elect the Supreme People's Procuracy for the 2026-2031 term for Mr. Nguyen Huy Tien.
