Of which, overnight visitors reached about 165,000, an increase of 42% compared to the same period in 2025.
2 holidays this year coincide with the peak tourist season, along with the spillover effect from the National Tourism Year - Gia Lai 2026, creating favorable conditions for people and tourists to visit and relax.

For the Hung Kings Commemoration holiday alone, the province welcomed about 270,000 visitors, an increase of 23% compared to the same period last year, with revenue reaching about 550 billion VND. The April and May holidays welcomed about 625,000 visitors, an increase of 69% compared to the same period in 2025, with revenue reaching about 1,100 billion VND.
Increased travel demand makes air and rail transport to Gia Lai more bustling than usual. At Phu Cat Airport and Pleiku Airport, the number of passengers reached about 35,000. Quy Nhon and Dieu Tri stations welcomed about 10,500 passengers, an average of more than 1,500 passengers/day.
Throughout the 2 holidays, Gia Lai organized many large-scale cultural and tourism events, imbued with local identity. Prominent is the 1st Gia Lai Provincial Ethnic Culture Festival in 2026 with art activities, cultural exchange, recreation of traditional village space, display of documents and images.
