Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich - Vice Chairwoman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee - said that the theme "Gia Lai - The great forest touches the blue sea" not only shows the harmony between mountains and seas, but also carries the aspiration to connect different values to create new attraction and development momentum.
According to Ms. Lich, Gia Lai hopes that each tourist coming to the locality is not only to admire the beautiful scenery but also to experience, touch, and feel the depth of culture, the sincerity of people and the spirit of innovation of the land that is rising strongly.
The festival is a friendly greeting from Gia Lai to friends and tourists from near and far; it is an invitation for investors and businesses to explore new cooperation and development opportunities. Through this, it shows the determination to build Gia Lai into an attractive, friendly and unique destination on the Vietnam tourism map," Ms. Lich emphasized.
In harmony with the vibrant atmosphere of summer, the art program brings many special performances such as "Improvisation of Bai Choi", "You in My Eyes", "Wonderful Summer", "Gong Dance", "Miracle", "My Name is Vietnam"... performed by singers Hong Gam, Felix Tien Quang, Liz Nguy Thuy Linh, Nguyen Hung and artists and actors.
The performances are elaborately staged, harmoniously combining modern music and traditional art, recreating the typical images of the coastal land - the great forest. Through this, the audience is immersed in a colorful cultural and tourist space, contributing to promoting the beauty of nature, people and unique identity of Gia Lai.
In part 2 of the program - "Chill with Idols", the festive atmosphere was pushed to a climax when young artists loved by a large audience appeared on stage.
Exciting songs such as "Phơi cháy máy", "Đường vào tim em", "Lời đường mật", "24h", "Thanh âm miền núi", "Người miền núi chất", "À lôi"... performed by Kay Tran, LyLy, Liz Nguy Thuy Linh and Double2T have stirred up thousands of spectators.
Nguyen Ha Linh (24 years old, in Quy Nhon Nam ward) shared: "The music party was really exciting. The enthusiastic atmosphere of thousands of spectators created a memorable night. This summer in Gia Lai is truly explosive with many attractive cultural and entertainment activities, bringing unforgettable experiences to people and tourists".
The "Gia Lai welcomes summer 2026" tourism festival is expected to contribute to promoting the local image, introducing tourism potential from the great forest to the blue sea; attracting tourists, investors and creating motivation for tourism to become an important economic sector of the province in the new development phase.
