Within the framework of the National Tourism Year 2026, Gia Lai province plans to organize 6 series of events with more than 100 typical cultural, sports and educational activities. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism plans to chair the organization of nearly 20 activities, creating a widespread influence.
To prepare the content of the highlight programs, Gia Lai province has assigned specific tasks to departments, branches and units in developing and implementing events to serve the National Tourism Year 2026, associated with the goal of attracting tourism, promoting investment and promoting the local image.
The province assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to propose a model of "Heritage Fire train" on the Dieu Tri - Quy Nhon, Da Nang - Quy Nhon - Khanh Hoa routes and the North - South route, connecting cultural, historical and culinary experiences of the region.

The People's Committee of Quy Nhon Ward and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will develop a plan to organize the Street Culture and Arts Festival, the International lion - horse - Dragon Festival along with performances and cultural exchanges. Agricultural product, specialty, craft village and culinary markets are also organized to diversify tourism experiences and expand local product consumption markets.
