On the morning of March 21 (ie February 23 of the lunar calendar), at the National Monument Complex of Ba Trieu Temple in Trieu Loc Commune, Hau Loc District, Thanh Hoa Province, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa Province solemnly organized the Ba Trieu Temple Festival in 2025, commemorating the 1,777th anniversary of the death of National Hero Trieu Thi Trinh (22.248 Mau Thin - 22.2.2025 At Ty).

Speaking at the festival, Mr. Pham Nguyen Hong - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VH-TT-DL) of Thanh Hoa province affirmed that the festival aims to honor National Hero Trieu Thi Trinh and those who have merited in the history of building and defending the country, expressing the deep gratitude of today's generation for the cultural heritage left by our ancestors, arousing the beauty of traditional culture imbued with national identity, affirming national pride and self-respect, contributing to educating and promoting historical, cultural, patriotic traditions and fighting for national liberation of our people in the new era.
According to Mr. Pham Nguyen Hong, the festival aims to promote and honor the unique cultural values of the national intangible cultural heritage of the traditional festival - Ba Trieu Temple Festival; thereby raising awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors and people in preserving and promoting the value of the Ba Trieu Temple Festival, contributing to preserving the national cultural heritage.
The Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa province also said that through organizing activities to introduce and promote the typical and unique cultural and architectural values of the special national relic - Ba Trieu relic site associated with the cultural tourism potential of Thanh Hoa with domestic and international friends, attracting visitors to the special national historical and architectural relic of Ba Trieu, to Thanh Hoa "Land of the God of Wealth" contributing to investment, construction, and development of the local economy, culture, and society...
According to the Organizing Committee, the Ba Trieu Temple Festival will take place for 3 days from March 20 to March 23 (ie February 21 to February 24 of the lunar calendar) with rituals such as the Boc Duc Festival, the Expiation Festival, the Ceremony, theoffering Ceremony at Ba Trieu Temple; offering incense at Ba Trieu Tomb on Tung Mountain; the Tomb of three generals of the Ly family at the foot of Tung Mountain; Phu Dien communal house...
During the festival, there will be many unique cultural activities, organizing a marked procession according to traditional rituals (this is a unique ritual of the people of Phu Dien village, Trieu Loc commune) that has existed for hundreds of years); organizing the display of billboards introducing Thanh Hoa Cultural Heritage such as: tangible cultural heritage (World heritage, special national relics, scenic spots, national treasures) and intangible cultural heritage (some festivals of the province have been recognized).
