The program to celebrate the success of the 14th National Party Congress and the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2026), attracted the attention of a large number of leaders and delegates including: Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Tran The Thuan - Member of the City Party Committee, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Dang Minh Thong - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Thuy - Member of the City Party Committee, Deputy Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City...
The program is organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Center for the Arts in coordination with the City Symphony Orchestra and Dance Theater to organize a special art program with the theme "Light of belief and aspiration".
The program is directed by the City's Organizing Committee for major holidays, and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports directs the content.
With a duration of 90 minutes, the program is divided into three chapters: "Radiant Vietnam", "The Nation Rises" and "Vietnam Glorious". Each chapter is an artistic slice reflecting the historical journey, development aspirations and the spirit of renovation of the country under the leadership of the Party.
Hundreds of artists, singers, professional dancers and students of art schools participated in the performance, creating a magnificent art space, combining symphonic music, chorus, modern dance and stage effects.
Opening the program was the mashup "Spring Ensemble - The Party has given us spring - Vietnam, oh! Spring has arrived", performed by People's Artist Ta Minh Tam, Meritorious Artist Anh Tuyet and many young singers. The vibrant, fresh sound of spring is like a New Year greeting, and at the same time evokes pride in the 96-year journey of the Party accompanying the nation.
Chapter I "Radiant Vietnam" brings audiences back to heroic milestones through medleys and musical scenes such as "Footprints ahead - Welcoming the Communist Party of Vietnam", "Southern resistance - Liberating Dien Bien", "Vietnam on the day of great victory". The performances are elaborately staged, combining Saigon Choir choir, HBSO symphony orchestra and dance groups, creating a vivid picture of the history of struggle for independence and reunification of the country.
Going to Chapter II "The country rises", the highlight is the video clip "Declaration of the Era" summarizing the outstanding images of the 14th Congress. The songs "Love of the country - Party-offering youth", "Beautiful Vietnam", "Thousands of Vietnamese dreams - A new horizon" continue to depict the spirit of renovation, integration and development aspirations of the nation in the new era.
Chapter III "Vietnam Glory" focuses on the image of Ho Chi Minh City in the role of economic locomotive, creative center and international integration. Songs such as "Ho Chi Minh City, the shining belief", "Rising up Ho Chi Minh City", "Glory is waiting for us - Together to glory" have conveyed the message of a dynamic city, pioneering in digital transformation and sustainable development.
Closing the program was a medley "The country rises - Strong aspirations" with the participation of all artists, creating a moment of emotional climax.
Not only is it a large-scale art event, the program "Light of Belief and Aspiration" also contributes to spreading belief, solidarity and aspiration to build a strong and prosperous Vietnam in the new development period.
