Previously, Nhu Van participated in some film projects with small roles. What made you return to this movie when you received a casting invitation?
For me, everything started very basicly. When I accepted the invitation, I went to casting, read the script and then decided. What opened my heart first was the people who were implementing the project, especially Mr. Truong Giang and Ms. Nha Phuong - seniors with experience in the profession.
When I went to casting, I heard that Mr. Truong Giang directly participated in the audition with me. After one day, he auditioned many people, but when it was my turn, he still joined in acting. I felt that it was creating conditions and maybe he saw something suitable for the character.
This role is quite important and has a psychological touch. How does Van approach the character, is there pressure?
Pressure is definitely there, because I am a newcomer in acting. I don't know how well I will do, so the only way is to focus all my strength. Luckily, the character is quite close to me in real life. I am also the mother of two daughters, and the co-star playing the child in the movie is almost my child's age.
So there are scenes where I don't need to try too hard, just relax and be a normal mother, not perfect but very loving to her children.

As a new actress in a project by a famous director, how is Van preparing psychologically in the face of arguments or opposing opinions from the audience?
I am completely open to receiving praise and criticism for the role in Mr. Truong Giang's movie.
I know I don't have much experience, so the only thing I need to do is try my best and learn from my predecessors.
I don't dare to say I'm acting well, I just hope the audience sees the authenticity of the characters. Suggestions, whether positive or not, are opportunities for me to improve for later projects.
What did you learn from working with veteran artists like Truong Giang, Le Khanh, Nhu Van?
Mr. Truong Giang guided me on how to prepare mentally before filming heavy scenes, and how to "escape roles" after filming so as not to be affected by life.
Ms. Le Khanh is cute, always ready to support. Sometimes I was confused, she suggested how to handle it to make the scene more natural and interesting. I also learned from her how to analyze the script, take notes, and then relax to understand the characters more deeply.
Many beauty queens have been labeled as "beautiful people acting in movies". Is Nhu Van worried that this will happen to her?
I think everything should come naturally. The audience's skepticism about actors is normal. I don't see myself as a beauty queen acting in movies, but as a rookie who has absolutely no experience in acting. So I just focus on listening, learning and trying step by step.
In real life, Nhu Van is a person who trains and coaches students, but in movies, she starts from a new position. Are you sad?
Everyone has a starting point for a new journey. I feel more excited. I always guide myself and my students on a multi-talented path, trying my hand in many fields. Starting over helps me understand more about the value of learning and is also a role model for young people to see that it is never too late to start.
Does participating in the movie affect Nhu Van's work and schedule?
When participating in the project, I always put 100% of my energy into it. Fortunately, the Miss Global organization is very understanding, even adjusting the schedule so that I can complete the film and then continue the tours. After Tet, I will be busier to make up for it.
Becoming a mother early, how does Nhu Van balance work and family?
I gave birth to my child when I was very young, so balancing has become a habit. The important thing is quality time. No need to be with my child for too many hours, but every day I still try to have dinner together, talk really.
The two children also understand and support their mother's work very well. When I said I was acting in a movie, the children were very excited and looked forward to going to the cinema to see it.
Thank you for sharing!
In the Tet movie "My Father's House, One Room" directed by Truong Giang, Miss Nguyen Dinh Nhu Van plays Ms. Le - Truong Giang's ex-wife. Ms. Le is portrayed as a resilient woman, always feeling guilty towards Truong Giang's father and son in the movie.
