The program is organized on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), to commemorate and express gratitude to heroic martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution.
Attending the program were Comrade Pham Thi Thanh Tra, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister, and leaders of central departments, ministries, and branches.
On the side of Quang Ninh province were Mr. Quan Minh Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province, along with Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, veterans and former youth volunteers.
The organizing committee invited more than 6,000 delegates who are Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, relatives of martyrs and people with meritorious services to participate in the program.
Units and localities have arranged transportation, guidance forces, support and care for delegates.
Speaking at the opening of the program, Mr. Bui Van Khang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee - emphasized that Quang Ninh province always pays attention to implementing policies, taking care of the material and spiritual lives of people with meritorious services and policy families.
In addition to implementing the Central Government's regimes, the province has issued more policies to support housing, nursing, health care and repair of martyrs' memorial works.
Responding to the Campaign "500 days and nights to promote the search, repatriation and identification of martyrs' remains", Quang Ninh has completed taking martyrs' remains samples for DNA testing.
Speaking at the program, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra affirmed that caring for people with meritorious services is a consistent policy of the Party and State and a good moral principle of the Vietnamese nation.
The name of the special art program "Forever Age 20" evokes a generation of Vietnamese youth who dedicated the most beautiful years of their youth to the Fatherland.
The ideals, patriotism and dedication of previous generations still live with the country forever. These noble values have contributed to nurturing and fostering the revolutionary spiritual strength of the nation, adding faith, will and responsibility to today's and future generations.
Forever 20" is a special art political program consisting of 16 performances, structured into 3 chapters.
Chapter 1 is titled "Youth for the country", recreating the image of Vietnamese people dedicating their youth to the cause of national liberation and national defense.
Chapter 2 "Journey of Memories and Gratitude" expresses remembrance and gratitude to heroic martyrs and those who dedicated their youth to the country.
Chapter 3 "Reunions and aspirations for the future" conveys the message of reunion and aspirations to build the country in peacetime.
The program has the participation of hundreds of professional actors, extras along with NSƯT Dang Duong and singers Hong Nhung, Ho Quynh Huong, Duc Phuc, Viet Thu, Duong Hoang Yen, Anh Tu, Ly Ly, rapper Rica.
Through art performances, reports and stories about real people, the program has spread patriotism, national pride and the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source".
