Hung Yen province is focusing on renovating and repairing the ancestral temple, memorial area and mausoleum of cultural figure Le Quy Don; completing the road connecting from the special national relic Mausoleum and temple of the Tran Dynasty kings to the memorial area of cultural figure Le Quy Don; strengthening the green tree system and environmental landscape.
Along with that is the digitization of documents about the life and career of celebrities, displaying artifacts, imperial decrees and building documentary films to serve propaganda work.
According to the plan, the series of commemorative activities takes place from June to October 2026 with many national and international-scale events such as: International scientific conference on Cultural Figure Le Quy Don; art political program, special art program; contest to learn about the life and career of Cultural Figure Le Quy Don; exhibition and book publishing activities; launching the science and technology award named Le Quy Don; staging a Cheo play about Cultural Figure Le Quy Don; issuing a commemorative postage stamp set...
The national-level anniversary is expected to be held at the Le Quy Don Cultural Figure Memorial Area, Le Quy Don commune, with the participation of more than 1,200 central, international and local delegates.
The Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, and localities to fully absorb the opinions of central delegates, continue to carefully review the tasks, and proactively coordinate with ministries and branches to complete the organization plan, ensuring that activities take place thoughtfully, solemnly, safely and effectively.
At the same time, requesting Le Quy Don commune to accelerate the construction progress of the road connecting the relics, strengthen the renovation of the campus, green tree system and environmental landscape inside and outside the relic area.
