On September 15, Mr. Pham Van Nghiem - Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to listen to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism report on the draft Resolution stipulating a number of regimes and policies for artists and artisans with many contributions in the field of intangible cultural heritage; coaches, athletes and financial spending regimes for sports competitions in the province.
The draft Resolution consists of 2 chapters, 19 articles, focusing on 3 groups of policies: support and remuneration regimes for artists and artisans; regimes for coaches and athletes; spending levels and bonuses for sports competitions in the province.
The policies are built on the basis of central regulations and practical requirements after the merger.
At the meeting, delegates focused on exchanging and discussing the legal basis, practical basis and the necessity of issuing policies; and at the same time contributing opinions on subjects, conditions, levels of support, preferential treatment, and rewards for artists, artisans, coaches, athletes and spending levels for sports competitions in the province.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Nghiem requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to fully absorb the opinions, comprehensively review the current policies of the Central Government and the province in the field of culture and sports, especially regulations related to the regime of treatment and commendation for artists, artisans, coaches, and athletes.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the drafting agency to clarify the practical basis and level of support for each group of subjects, especially specific policies; ensuring that the proposed contents are grounded, suitable for reality and budget balancing capacity.
On that basis, continue to complete the draft Resolution, ensuring compliance with regulations, tightness, and feasibility; contributing to encouraging artists and artisans to continue to contribute, preserve and promote the value of cultural heritage; and at the same time creating conditions for the development of high-performance sports, attracting and retaining capable coaches and athletes.
