On the morning of December 4, on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway, km196 through Hong Son commune (Lam Dong), an accident occurred involving an ambulance transferring a patient to the hospital.
At this time, the ambulance was carrying a critical patient from Dak Lak province (old Phu Yen area) to Ho Chi Minh City. When it reached the above location, it hit the back of a passenger bus traveling in the same direction in front.
Due to the seriousness of the disease, after the collision, another ambulance traveling on the highway assisted in continuing to take the patient to Ho Chi Minh City.
However, during the move, the patient did not survive. The family took the body back to their hometown to prepare for the funeral.
The Traffic Police force of Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6 (Department 6, Traffic Police Department) and the route management unit quickly arrived, remotely diverted traffic and temporarily closed the highway section to handle the scene.
Vehicles are directed to National Highway 28B at the intersection.
