The opening ceremony of the 4th Da Nang Asian Film Festival - DANAFF IV took place on the evening of June 28 at Ariyana Convention Palace. This Da Nang Asian Film Festival will honor many works and artists of Vietnam and Asia in important award categories.
According to the Organizing Committee of the film festival, this year's program has the participation of many big names in world cinema along with many famous artists from Korea, Turkey and Vietnam.
At the red carpet of the opening ceremony, Ji Chang Wook - one of the famous stars of Korea - appeared and attracted the attention of a large audience.
He is loved through many films such as Smile Again, Empress Ki, Healer, The K2, Suspicious Partner and Welcome to Samdal-ri.

Korean actor Jung Il-woo also appeared on the DANAFF IV red carpet. Jung Il-woo is a Korean actor, model and singer. He is famous for his role as Lee Yoon-ho in the movie Family is Number One.

Not only gathering Korean stars, the opening night of DANAFF IV also attracted the presence of many actors, artists, models, beauty queens, runners-up and film crews.
DANAFF IV has 5 world premieres, 3 international premieres and 5 first-run films in Asia, showing the increasing attraction of the film festival to filmmakers in the region.
In addition to film screenings, DANAFF IV also organizes the program "The Face of Vietnamese Cinema 40 Years of Doi Moi", the US Film Focus program and many international seminars on cinema, artificial intelligence, digital technology and film industry development.
This year, DANAFF IV continues to expand the film ecosystem with four new initiatives including Script Lab, DANAFF Industry Days, DANAFF's Cinephiles and DANAFF Booth. The DANAFF Talents program also attracted 191 projects submitted, selecting 17 projects to participate in training, connection and project development activities.



DANAFF IV takes place from June 28 to July 4, co-organized by the Da Nang City People's Committee and the Vietnam Association for the Promotion of Cinema Development (VFDA), with the slogan "Bridgeing Asia to the World".
