On the evening of April 30, at 2 Thang 4 Square (Nha Trang ward), the Khanh Hoa Provincial Traditional Art Theater organized a special art performance program to celebrate the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of Khanh Hoa province (April 4, 1975 - April 2026) and the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South, national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026).
In the heroic atmosphere of the historic April days, the program recreated the glorious tradition of Khanh Hoa homeland. At the same time, it depicts the image of a locality that is strongly innovating, dynamic, creative and imbued with cultural identity, gradually integrating and developing.
With a duration of more than 90 minutes, the program brings people and tourists an emotional art space, harmoniously combining music and dance.
The performances not only expressed love for the homeland, country and pride in the revolutionary struggle tradition, but also conveyed the aspiration to build Khanh Hoa and Vietnam to develop strongly in the new era.
The program is divided into 3 parts with the themes: "Khanh Hoa - 51 years of victorious songs", "Khanh Hoa - Common songs" and "Khanh Hoa - City of the future".
Many performances are elaborately staged such as: the large-scale scene "Singing to celebrate Nha Trang liberation - Song of April 16th - Moving towards Saigon - A country full of joy", along with the performances "Loved Nha Trang", "Made in Vietnam", "Song of Unification", "Flying Over the East Sea", "Vietnamese Essence", "Elevating the dawn", "Vietnam - Proud to continue the future", medley "Khanh Hoa today - Come here to the sea", "Khanh Hoa new day"...
After 51 years of liberation and 40 years of implementing the renovation policy, the Party Committee, government and people of Khanh Hoa have promoted the tradition of solidarity, proactiveness, creativity, overcome many difficulties, and effectively exploited potentials and strengths to achieve important achievements in socio-economic fields.
In 2025, Khanh Hoa's economy continued to record positive growth in the context of many challenges, with GRDP increasing by about 7.11%. Khanh Hoa's budget revenue reached 38,926 billion VND, exceeding 31.9% compared to the central government's estimate.
In particular, the Prime Minister has just issued a decision approving the task of general planning of Khanh Hoa urban area to 2050, with a vision to 2075. In which, Khanh Hoa is oriented to become a type I urban area, moving towards a centrally-run city in a modern, smart, green and sustainable direction.
The plan sets the goal of building Khanh Hoa into an important growth pole, a marine economic center, high-tech industry, logistics, high-quality services, clean energy and innovation. At the same time, the locality will play the role of an international gateway, connecting coastal and inter-regional economic corridors.
In addition, Khanh Hoa continues to be oriented to develop into an international sea tourism center, a resort and major event organization nucleus of the region and the whole country; linking urban development with natural landscape conservation, climate change adaptation and ensuring national defense and security.
