Talking to PV of Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh - Deputy Director of Ninh Binh Province Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1 (Project investor) said that up to now (April 26 - PV), the project construction volume has reached nearly 40% and strives to complete the Project by the end of November 2026.
On the main route of the Project, the contractor is currently deploying 7 construction fronts simultaneously, performing tasks such as excavating soil, filling the roadbed with sand... The bridge part is deploying 12 construction fronts simultaneously at 12/12 bridge construction locations. In which, the workload has been completed over 90% of the sand filling foundation.
Similarly, at the construction site of the Cao Bo - Mai Son expressway expansion project, according to records of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, on April 26, all construction teams were still working normally. At the construction packages of roadbeds, overpasses, underpasses, drainage systems..., groups of workers divided shifts to work with a state of urgency. Contractors organized 3 shifts, 4 teams to shorten the project construction progress.
Mr. Nguyen Viet Ngoc - Director of the Construction Investment Project Management Board (under the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Construction - the investor of the above project) said that currently the investor is urging contractors to focus manpower and machinery to accelerate the project progress. The project construction is still ensuring the set progress.
Currently, contractors are deploying 9 construction fronts with about 300 machines, equipment and nearly 700 workers to accelerate the project progress. According to forecasts, the entire Project will be completed and put into use in August 2026, shortening the construction time by about 6 months compared to the plan" - Mr. Ngoc said.
