According to the police, Kim Soo Hyun's legal team is currently coordinating the schedule for the plaintiff to appear.
The police added, "A total of seven lawsuits were filed by Kim Soo Hyun and three lawsuits were filed by Kim Sae Ron."
Meanwhile, Kim Soo Hyun is said to be being canceled by domestic advertisers and international partners.
According to Taiwanese media (China), 7-Eleven's headquarters in Taiwan (China) has announced the complete cancellation of cooperation with Kim Soo Hyun, claiming losses of up to tens of billions of won.
7-Eleven stated: "All production and marketing activities of related products have been suspended. In addition to the reputational damage, the damage from the removed products and canceled advertisements is up to a total of about 6 billion won or about 4.3 million USD".
At the same time, 7-Eleven said it is actively considering a claim for compensation for damages against Kim Soo Hyun.
Previously, Kim Soo Hyun was suspected of dating Kim Sae Ron when she was still a minor. After her death, her family announced through the YouTube channel Garo Sero Research Institute (Hoverlab) that the two had dated when she was a minor.
Kim Soo Hyun's side denied this, claiming that they had been dating for about a year after she became an adult. They have since filed a lawsuit against both Kim Sae Ron and Kim Se Ui, the YouTube channel operator, for violating the Act on Promoting the Use of Information and Communications networks and Information Protection, defamation and damage.
The compensation claim in the lawsuit filed by Kim Soo Hyun in court is 11 billion won (about 8 million USD).
