With the spirit of "Connecting - Sharing - Spreading love", the World Cultural Festival in Hanoi has become a meeting place for friendship, gathering a large number of international friends, artists, social organizations, businesses and Vietnamese people.
According to Dr. Nguyen Phuong Hoa, Director of the Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), the charity auction program and donation activities will attract strong responses at the festival.
All funds raised will be made public and transparent, transferred to localities that are suffering heavy damage due to floods.
The fund will be used to support the reconstruction of houses, schools and essential civil works, helping people soon stabilize their lives.
The World Cultural Festival not only honors cultural diversity, but also demonstrates the spirit of humanity - when people, regardless of language or skin color, still share the same heart and spirit of solidarity, join hands to heal the world, for a better life.
The event is not only a friendly meeting of cultures around the world, but also a journey of humanity towards communities heavily affected by natural disasters, demonstrating the spirit of international solidarity in solving common global challenges, including climate change, that no country can stand aside from.
The World Cultural Festival - a bridge of culture, art and compassion - continues to affirm the message: "When culture is connected, the world joins hands, there is no challenge that cannot be overcome, for a sustainable development future for everyone".
The World Cultural Festival takes place from October 10 to 12 at the relic site of Thang Long Imperial Citadel Center (Thang Long Heritage Conservation Center, Hanoi). The festival promises to become a "common home" for world cultures, where the quintessence of art, cuisine and traditions of ethnic groups converge, creating a vivid picture of diversity, harmony and solidarity between countries around the world.
