50 years of relentless and strong transformation
On the evening of July 1st, in the area in front of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee headquarters (Le Thanh Ton street, Saigon ward), the art performance and 3D mapping screening program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the City of Saigon - Gia Dinh honored to be named after President Ho Chi Minh (July 2, 1976 - July 2, 2026) officially opened, with the theme "Innovation and Integration".
Speaking at the opening of the program, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee said that 50 years of bearing Uncle Ho's name is 50 years of the city constantly transforming strongly.

From the early years of many difficulties after the war, the city has gradually risen strongly to become a civilized, modern and compassionate city; a major center of economy, finance, trade, culture, science - technology and innovation of the whole country.
Tonight, with the harmony between contemporary performing arts and 3D mapping projection technology, the facade of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee headquarters becomes an art space of light and emotion.

Through this, Ho Chi Minh City wishes to send to people, domestic friends and international tourists a message about a city named after Uncle Ho - always meaningful, dynamic, creative, integrated and sustainably developed; a city that cherishes the past, steadily moves forward in the present and confidently looks towards the future.
3D mapping recreates the cultural and historical journey of Vietnam
Lao Dong's records on the evening of July 1st, Le Thanh Ton and Nguyen Hue streets were crowded with people and tourists coming to choose convenient locations to enjoy special performances. The highlight of the program is a 3D mapping projection with images, lights and graphics moving continuously to the music.
Present at the event area from 6 pm, Ms. Lien Huong (Tan Son Nhi ward) said that her family was excited to come early to wait to enjoy the program.
I am very happy to participate in this meaningful event with my children. Through the program, I want my children to understand more about the historical milestone of the city, and at the same time love and be more proud of Ho Chi Minh City" - Ms. Huong shared.

With the first 3D mapping art performance themed "Echoes of Dai Viet", the entire architectural space here transforms into a vivid picture, recreating the cultural beauty, the beauty of traditional Vietnamese fine arts typical of each region. It is a perfect combination of the flow of heritage fine arts and contemporary design thinking.
In particular, leading this visual journey is an exclusively produced piece of music, where the rustic sounds of Vietnamese traditional instruments blend with the modern electronic music material of the world.
Continuing in the night was a performance with the theme "Half a century of pride - Saigon's Pulse" and the theme "The Era of Rising".
The art performance and 3D mapping exchange program continues from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM on July 2nd.
