Previously, L.Q.N (born in 2018, residing in Ba Don ward, Quang Tri province) was hospitalized with many complicated injuries to the face and head.
According to the family, while N was playing in the yard, he was suddenly bitten and attacked by a wild monkey.
After first aid at the Health Station, the patient was transferred to the Department of Surgery - Anesthesia and Resuscitation, Quang Binh Friendship Hospital. The doctor noted a wound on the right cheek with a skin defect of about 2x3cm, a jagged, bruised edge; the scalp of the parenchyma had many tears causing bleeding.
The child was consulted and operated on to treat facial wounds, used antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs, pain relief, and was given a tetanus vaccine and rabies prevention according to the protocol.
