The program is expected to start at 8:00 p.m. with a scale of up to 40,000 spectators. Therefore, fans proactively arrived early to change bracelets and stabilize their seats, avoiding traffic jams.
Among the crowds flocking to the capital, Ms. Linh Phung - an audience member flying from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi excitedly shared: "I took a flight on the morning of December 11 to catch the sound check (a sound check) in the afternoon of the same day. I combine many factors in this trip, so I do not calculate the detailed cost of accommodation or air tickets. For me, meeting my idol is an immeasurable happiness".
In particular, Ms. Phung also said that her leave was very favorable: "My boss gave me a day off to watch My Tam sing. The boss was also excited to hear me say go to the concert and create conditions".
The audience of "Bright Hair Party American" spans across all ages, from children to the elderly, from all over the provinces such as Da Nang, Da Lat, Saigon... Among them, there are many people who have been attached to the female singer for more than two decades. Ms. Minh Hue (Hanoi) is a typical example of this perseverance.
Ms. Minh Hue shared: "I have been a fan of Ms. Tam for 20 years, and have been present at every live show of my sister. I always remember when I saw her perform in Da Nang, it was raining but it stopped at the show time. In the middle of the session, when the weather stopped raining, Ms. Tam stood on stage hoping it would not rain so the program would go smoothly. Strangely, the weather stopped completely and it only started to rain again when the concert was over."
"I felt it was miraculous, like a spiritual favor for artists who lived well," Ms. Hue added emotionally.
She also revealed that My Tam is the only Vietnamese artist who is willing to spend a lot of time, effort and money to watch live: "Although I listen to music from many singers both at home and abroad, I only choose to watch the live show."
Before the official show, Ms. Linh Phung and Ms. Minh Hue were among the 1,000 lucky audiences who attended the sound check on the afternoon of December 11.
Here, My Tam "teased" a few songs and directly checked the sound with the band. Although the number of attendees was only 1/40 of the main night, the vibrant atmosphere soon spread strongly.
The highlight of the rehearsal was the title track "See the light". This is a new composition by My Tam in Pop-Rock style with a fast, powerful and full of positive energy. The song conveys a message of steadfast faith and the desire to find inner light on the journey to pursue dreams. This is also the "red thread" throughout this entire live show.
According to information from the Organizing Committee, the live show "See the light" was staged as a sublime emotional journey. The combination of music, lighting and stage design is meticulously calculated, creating many different layers of space to honor the theme of each musical chapter.
Despite the obstacles of the weather, the enthusiasm of thousands of spectators showed My Tam's unrivalled appeal, promising a sublime and memorable music night.
