On February 21 (the 5th day of the first lunar month of Binh Ngo year), at the Temple of Emperor Quang Trung on Dung Quyet mountain, Nghe An province solemnly held the 237th anniversary of the Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da Victory (1789 - 2026), commemorating and expressing gratitude for the merits of Emperor Quang Trung and the Tay Son Rebels.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Council; Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of Nghe An Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh - Provincial Party Committee Member, Director of Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Colonel Nguyen Tien Dung - Deputy Head of Political Department of Military Region 4; along with representatives of leaders of departments, agencies, branches, localities and a large number of people.
In the solemn atmosphere of early spring, delegates and people respectfully offered incense at the Temple of Emperor Quang Trung, recalling the Ky Dau spring victory of 1789 - a shining symbol of the will for independence, the spirit of great unity and the aspiration for national self-reliance.
The Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da victory is a brilliant milestone in the nation's history, showing the strategic vision, tactical talent and determination to fight and win of Emperor Quang Trung and the Tay Son Nghia Quan.
The anniversary is an opportunity to educate patriotism, foster national pride, foster will and determination to build Nghe An to become increasingly developed, worthy of the Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da heroic spirit.
