Qua Son Temple has become a spiritual destination attracting a large number of people and tourists from all directions to travel in Spring, sightseeing, and offering incense to pray for peace.

Every Tet holiday, Spring comes, many people return to Qua Son Temple (Bach Ngoc commune, Nghe An) to express their respect and gratitude for the merits of their predecessors.

This year, despite the drizzly weather, the number of people flocking to Qua Son Temple is still very large, with an average of thousands of tourists coming to visit and worship every day.

According to records on the 3rd day of Binh Ngo Tet, crowds from many localities, including elderly people, families to young people, students... excitedly came to Qua Son Temple.

Qua Son Temple is one of the four sacred names of Nghe region "first Con, second Qua, third Bach Ma, fourth Chieu Trung".

This is the place to worship Uy Minh Vuong Ly Nhat Quang, the 8th son of King Ly Cong Uan.

Uy Minh Vuong Ly Nhat Quang contributed to driving out foreign invaders, keeping borders safe, reclaiming land, and developing the economy of Hoan Chau, Nghe An region nearly 1,000 years ago.

Besides worshiping Uy Minh Vuong Ly Nhat Quang, the temple also worships 2 Ly Dynasty generals, Dong Kinh Vuong and Duc Thanh Vuong.

Talking to reporters, people and tourists said that they come here all with wishes for a peaceful and lucky new year.

Elderly people pray for health, family harmony, and smooth work; meanwhile, many students also come to offer incense with the desire to study more effectively and have smooth exams in the new year.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa (resident of Bach Ngoc commune, Nghe An) said that every year her family comes to Qua Son temple at the beginning of the year to pray for peace.

Going to spring festivals has become a habit of my family. Coming here is not only to pray for health and luck, but also to help children and grandchildren understand more about the traditions and merits of our ancestors," Ms. Hoa shared.

Meanwhile, Mr. Tran Van Minh, a tourist from Thanh Vinh ward (Nghe An) said that this is the first time he and his family have come to Qua Son temple for a spring outing.

My family traveled about 60km to get here. The atmosphere at the temple is very solemn and close. I hope a new year is favorable in work, and my family is healthy and peaceful," Mr. Minh said.

Although the number of tourists increased sharply in the first days of the year, security and order assurance and traffic safety in the Qua Son temple area are still maintained stably.

According to the plan, the Qua Son Temple Festival 2026 will take place from January 18 to 20.

Coming to the Qua Son Temple festival, everyone will live in a sacred space and participate in festival activities typical of the "spiritual" land.

The festival aims to preserve and promote the value of the national intangible cultural heritage, Qua Son Temple Festival, and at the same time, spread the value and unique meaning of a sacred temple, becoming an attractive spiritual tourist destination in Nghe land.

From now until the time of organizing the festival, the Bach Ngoc commune government is actively completing preparations to ensure that the festival takes place solemnly and safely, meeting the cultural and religious needs of people and tourists from all directions.
